About Dr. Kristy

Dr. Kristy Calloway is a spirit-filled Christian, Mom, Honey (to the grandbabies), daughter, friend, nurse, educator, and now author with a passion for helping others walk through hard times in life.

She has roots that run deep in many directions. She has repeatedly gone from victim to victor and walked with many others while they have done the same.

Her kindness and compassionate personality is evident to all who meet her. She has lived through many types of challenges and seasons in life and has applied wisdom and grace in her choices to navigate through difficult times and not dwell there.

It isn't just about helping others survive and giving good advice (although she naturally does this as well), but she is gifted at speaking on thriving in this harsh world.

She believes, and is living proof, that you can walk through difficult things and come out a survivor who is whole and living in your purpose.

Out of her true love for Jesus and submission to His calling came the purpose which she now pursues.

She believes, and is living proof, that you can walk through difficult things and come out a survivor who is whole and living in your purpose.

About WayChooser

As I was praying and searching about how to proceed with my purpose, God kept bringing to mind my habitual focus on choice. During that time, I came across the concept of wayfinding.

Wayfinding is a complex practice that uses techniques such as people-asking and crowd-following to find your way. While that was interesting, I kept thinking that following the crowd and asking the opinion of others is not always the best method to "find your way" in life.

Instead of simply finding your way, I want women to know you can choose the path you take!

My heart for this ministry is to empower women to choose to live God's way and create a life you love despite the pain and trauma you may have experienced. As I like to say, "You can't always choose what happens to you, but you can always choose how you respond."

My heart is to inspire hope and encourage you to walk this life in grace and faith. You can live in wholeness and fulfillment despite your circumstances.

I pray that each of you become a "WayChooser" and choose to live the way Jesus set out for you!
